All is quite in the house as I sit down to introduce you to the man I get to call my husband. I am blessed to be the wife of a hobbyist turned pro craftsman who is most importantly, God fearing. I could go in many directions with this post but what is on my heart to share is the dedication this man shows towards doing things the right way. Something I have grown to admire from him is how he lives Colossians 3:23, "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."
Last week I shared with you the start of Home Angle and the passion it was founded on. Today, meet Thomas, the man who made my dream a reality. As a child, Thomas was already known as a bit of a perfectionist. Picture a little blond boy out fishing with his dad. His dad, Kenny, complimented his cast and Thomas' legendary response, "I can do better Dad." I see that in his work ethic to this day; however, the heart behind why has shifted to wanting to praise God.
Thomas amazes me each day with new terminology and new techniques he has self taught or learned from mentors in our lives. You can trust every project and product that comes from Home Angle will pass through the trusting and skilled hands of Thomas.
I knew Thomas was the guy for me when we would both choose a date night at Home Depot or another hardware store in the area over a fancy dinner. The smell of the wood always excited me but it was Thomas' giddy love for the tools that never ceased to entertain me! I come to him with many ideas and new projects and a typical response I can expect, "You know, to really be able to do this project it would be nice to have X tool." He is a man who loves his tools, or should I just say, Boys and their Toys!
Until next week, many blessings!
*Pictured in the video is a Dewalt plunge router. I am told it allows you to 'plunge' it down on to the wood because it is on springs. If you are as confused as me, Thomas is your man to speak to =)
* I am forever thankful for the time I get to spend with you and the constant reminder to enjoy each moment ❤ I love you Thomas Ray!
